Early engagement has now started for the Integrated Workforce Management (IWFM) electronic rostering project to recommence at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).
The IWFM project team will be onsite for several months to implement IWFM electronic rostering, which will focus primarily on our nursing and midwifery cohort.
Our nursing and midwifery teams will benefit significantly from the implementation, which will deliver:
- A single, consistent, and organisation-wide workforce management solutionproviding streamlined and reliable roster-to-pay practices.
- Timely and standardised application of award and scheduling compliance rulesfor efficient and cost-effective roster management.
- Timely, accurate and cost-effective pay outcomes by reducing the volume and lateness of payroll form submission, inefficient roster-to-pay processes and disconnected local tools.
- A new customer-focused business operating model and Roster Support Office, that enables greater autonomy, clear delineation of roles and responsibilities and improved accountability and local support.
- Better workforce management decisions by empowering Line Managers with access to real-time and reliable workforce information.
- New rostering functionality within myHR including View Roster, Shift Swap, Shift Request and Employee Availability, empowering employees to take control of validating the roster they will be paid before it is submitted to payroll.
As we move through this period of important and exciting change, please keep your eye out for communications from the IWFM project team who will keep you updated on the progress of the implementation and what it means for you.
