It is a very busy time in all areas which I am seeing and hearing first hand as I am making visits to our different sites and participating in staff forums.
We have a lot of new projects getting underway, and are awaiting news of what the state mental health plan will be supporting in coming years. A few quick mentions in projects are a SafeWards project at MNMH-Red Cab, a Metro North MH Patient Flow project and a MNMH Personality Disorders scoping and mapping project. There are a few other opportunities that we have put our hand up for which I can talk about in the future.
Mention of all these activities also leads me to remind staff of the opportunity for staff to complete a 2 day Project Management Fundamentals course, to support project activities. Click here to view the EOI which closes 8 June 2022.
I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that we are in the midst of the collection period for the Annual Your Experience of Service (YES) and Family of Youth (FoY) surveys. Plus, we offer the Carer Experience of Service (CES) all year round. The Consumer and Carer Services team and ‘survey champions’ are promoting the survey and collecting surveys. All clinicians are asked to offer the survey to the consumers and family members they are supporting. The surveys can be offered in 3 ways – in person during a face to face contact, via post and via telephone. Talk to a member of the Consumer and Carer Services team if you need to access these options. The collection period is 2 May to 12 June 2022.
