Dear colleagues,
Welcome to the new year as we look ahead to the challenges and successes of 2021.
Even though this year has just begun, it has already been a very busy time with the changing requirements of the COVID-19 situation, and I would like to commend staff on being so flexible and cooperative with the many changes.
Many of you would be aware that shortly, I will be temporarily leaving TPCH to take on the role of Executive Director Safety and Quality, Metro North for a 12-month period. This is an exciting opportunity, and I look forward to continuing to work with many of you during the next year.
While I will miss the staff at TPCH and the important work we do, I am very pleased to be able to handover the Executive Director role to Tami Photinos, the current Executive Director for Metro North’s Community and Oral Health Directorate. Tami is an experienced, enthusiastic and capable leader who will no doubt continue to effectively support TPCH in achieving its many goals and priorities during the coming year.
Please keep up the great work you all do, and continue to support our patients, each other and our great hospital through practising the Metro North values of respect, integrity, compassion, high performance and teamwork.
I wish you all the best for a successful year at TPCH.
Kind regards,
Michele Gardner
