As we head into the midweek I want to continue to thank everyone who is working hard across our services and through the public holiday.

Fit Testing on the Public Holiday
Fit Testing will continue tomorrow on the public holiday. All staff can call the Fit Testing Number on 0487 537 524 to book an appointment.
If line managers and staff have an urgent need please call the number and we will work to arrange Fit Testing as a priority.
And, thank you to our Fit Testers for doing such an amazing job.
HR Hotline
Staff should take advantage of the HR Hotline which is open seven days from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm on 3646 5500 providing advice on returning to work and employee entitlements.
Important COVID-A9 leave options also follow for your information:
- Employee leave options due to COVID for permanent and fixed-term temporary, full-time and part-time employees (current at 7 January 2022) ·
- Leave options for employees with COVID-19 infection – employee with positive COVID-19 test or possible COVID-19 infection (current at 7 January 2022).
Coping in difficult times
Please don’t forget that each Thursday staff can Teams into the Staff Psychology Open Door virtual session between 2:30 – 3:15 pm. The purpose of the sessions is to provide a space for staff to explore coping strategies for wellbeing in the current COVID-19 environment.
Keeping PPE stocks optimal
Please continue to ensure your services have adequate stock of appropriate masks and PPE for your staff, and that you submit ordering forms prior to running out of stock.
Wellness Hub will be closed tomorrow
Please be aware that the Brighton Wellness Hub will be closed tomorrow January 26 due to the public holiday. As a result, RAT tests will be unable to picked by staff from the Brighton Wellness Hub tomorrow.

The changes to the testing requirements for critically essential workers have been updated in the:
Details about the change were outlined in yesterday’s Incident Controller’s message. If staff are close contacts, please liaise with your line manager about the steps required for returning to work during your quarantine period.
