The ASPIRES Project Team were pleased to host the official Launch event for the Metro North Mental Health ASPIRES: Suicide, Self-Harm and Overdose Prevention Plan on Tuesday 21 June at The Prince Charles Hospital Education Centre.
The launch of the plan celebrates the work of six workstreams and the commencement of a phased approach to the implementation of ASPIRES across Metro North Mental Health, including our Alcohol and Other Drug Services.
ASPIRES is an ambitious plan developed by Metro North Mental Health staff and other key stakeholders to introduce a consistent, evidenced-based approach to suicide, self-harm, and overdose prevention supported by the Restorative, Just and Learning culture.
