Dear colleagues,
In the last 24 hours Queensland has recorded two new cases of COVID-19, bringing our states active cases to 19. The first case is an overseas arrival and the other is a close contact of a known case from the Queensland Correctional Services Academy cluster. Both people were already in quarantine when they became COVID-19 positive. This brings us into day 10 of no community transmission – well done Queenslanders!
I am on recreation leave this week and will hand the Incident Controller role to Mark for a few days. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.
Kind regards,
Michelle Stute
