Metro North Health Incident Controller

Dear colleagues,

Metro North remains at Tier 0 for our COVID-19 pandemic response as Queensland continues to record no community transmission of COVID-19.

Our COVID-19 vidcasts will now stream every Wednesday, tomorrow’s will feature myself and Alanna Geary as Incident Controllers. Please tune in and ask us any questions you have of Metro North’s pandemic response. You can join the session, here, tomorrow from 11am.

Our concierge desks are remaining at the front of our facilities however it is no longer a requirement to check in on presentation to Metro North facilities. I strongly encourage you to download the COVIDSafe app to help support contact tracing. Precise and efficient contact tracing helps us to detect other possible cases and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

I recently spent six days travelling outback Queensland and discovered some amazing sites including the one pictured below! Do you recognise it or want to know where it is? Tune in to my vidcast tomorrow to find out!

I currently hold the record for the shortest weekend Incident Controller message, and it seems after today’s message, I will also hold the record for the shortest midweek Incident Controller message!

Have a good week everyone, Michelle is taking over this Thursday as IC and will keep you updated as necessary.

Kind regards,

Mark Butterworth
