2023 Research Excellence Awards
Research breakthroughs are driving innovation and improving healthcare across our health service every day. Metro North is home to hundreds of dedicated and determined world-class researchers who are working hard to improve patient outcomes, combat disease, and change clinical practice.
As we enter the second half of the year, we are launching the 2023 Metro North Research Excellence Awards to celebrate and recognise the invaluable contribution and incredible achievements made by our researchers.
Whether they’re early career researchers or established researchers, the Research Excellence Awards recognise stand-out accomplishments made across our vast health service within all clinical circles.
The categories for the 2023 Research Excellence Awards are:
- Researcher of the Year
- Rising Star Award
- Research Support Award
- Discovery and Innovation Research Award
- Clinical Research Award
- Complex Health Challenges Research Award
- Research Implementation Research Award
- Consumer in Research Award
This year we have revised some of the eligibility criteria and expanded the awards to include a new category, the Consumer in Research Award. Consumers play a crucial role in medical research, contributing to the advancement of healthcare and shaping treatment options. Through active participation and feedback, they assist the medical community in developing more effective healthcare solutions.
Nominations for the 2023 Metro North Research Excellence Awards are now open until Thursday 5pm 17 August 2023. Submit an entry.
