Chief Allied Health Practitioner: Mark Butterworth

Clinical Assistants play an important role in the lives of patients at Metro North by supporting the day to day clinical care they receive from Allied Health practitioners.

Each year we celebrate our Clinical Assistants through the Metro North Clinical Assistants Leadership Award. This award acknowledges the contributions of an outstanding Clinical Assistant who lives the values of Metro North in their day-to-day clinical practice.

Congratulations to Megan Nobbs for being awarded this year’s award. Megan is a Physiotherapy Clinical Assistant at STARS who has been an important member of the STARS Clinical Assistant Working Group, assisting the implementation of the Interprofessional AHA model of care, and the STARS AHA monthly meetings. She is also currently assisting with running the Metro North Clinical Assistant Seminars.

When asked what she likes best about her job, Megan said, “I love working with such a diverse and talented team who are so dedicated to helping patients make progress in their rehabilitation journey.”

Congratulations to all our nominees, and thank you to those who put nominations forward. It was very clear from the entries that our Clinical Assistant workforce is highly valued and appreciated.

Mark.
