2022-23 end-of-financial-year payroll information

Preparation for end-of-financial-year 2022-23 payroll activities is well underway. As with previous years, I would like to bring to your attention the important information regarding timeframes for submitting pay impacting forms and the issuing of ad hoc payments and Incomes Statements during this period.

To ensure employee information is included in the 2022-23 financial year Income Statements all forms for Pay Period 26 (ending Sunday 11 June 2023), and all new starter/rehires relating to Pay Period 26 of 2022-23 and Pay Period 01 of 2022-2023 must be submitted and approved on myHR and received by Payroll Transaction Services by 5 pm on Monday 12 June 2023. Therefore, it is important that all forms are submitted via myHR as soon as possible.

Due to the end-of-year processing activities, ad hoc payments will be restricted during the period Monday 19 June to Tuesday 27 June 2023 inclusive and made only in exceptional circumstances, requiring approval of the relevant Chief Finance Officer. No ad hoc payments will be processed on Wednesday 28 June, Thursday 29 June and Friday 30 June 2023, resuming to normal processing on Monday 3 July 2023.

End of financial year Income Statements will be available through the employees’ personal myGov account by 14 July 2023. For further information on how to access Income Statements, please visit the Single Touch Payroll page on QHEPS.

Further information on end-of-financial-year activities including the 2022-23 end-of-financial year will be available on the Payroll Assistance page on QHEPS.

Kristal.
