Dr Simon Bugden, Acting Executive Director Caboolture, Kilcoy & Woodford Clinical Directorate

Good news! It looks like we have passed the crest of our COVID admissions wave & are on the way down.

Thanks to everyone, you have weathered our COVID storm with caring, hard work & continued to provide a great healing service for our community. As we start to have a little bit of margin, please recover well. Thank your families for supporting our team over the past few months. Enjoy the outdoors as you recuperate.

Don’t go to the Caboolture carpark tent anymore

From Monday 21st, the COVID-19 Staff Testing Clinic tent in the Caboolture Hospital staff car park will move to the volunteer hut (at the main entry) for RAT collection only; 7.30am – 4pm every day.

Boosters

Three vaccines protect you much more than two, against Omicron. Please be encouraged to get yours asap. A booster is not mandatory, but a very good idea if you work in healthcare. Please promptly upload your booster details to TMS, thanks.

Farewell Nadine

A big thanks to CKW Administration Services Manager Nadine Kemp, who is returning to her substantive role as Senior Executive Officer to Metro North Health Chief Executive Jackie Hanson from Monday. Thanks for your guidance and support in administration and so much more during your time with us at CKW. We’ll miss you!

Compliments

We are receiving lots of compliments from patients & their families. Listen to this one, straight from the Courier Mail

‘I was treated with the utmost care and professionalism and cannot speak highly enough of my stay at Caboolture public hospital. I tell all my friends of my positive experience.’

Stay calm, slow COVID-19 and … think about your purpose in life as we look to 2022,

Important information to help you today.
