It was clearly a night of nights, a great celebration of our dedicated staff and teams across the health service.

The Metro North Staff Excellence Awards 2022 recognised not only the broader service but some of our deserving Community and Oral Health stars.

Rollout of ieMR

As you will have seen the rollout of ieMR across Metro North will begin next year.

As part of the rollout, Enterprise Scheduling Management (ESM) will be implemented across Community and Oral Health, going live in November 2023.

ESM is the outpatient scheduling module of ieMR and will replace the appointment scheduling and referral management functions of HBCIS. An overview of ESM can be accessed here.

ESM will be a single, integrated scheduling system used by all Metro North hospitals and COH. We will have visibility over all appointments patients have booked at facilities using ESM, allowing us to better co-ordinate appointment scheduling and referrals management.

Additionally, ieMR view-only access will be rolled out to COH staff. This will ensure a timely, shared view of information captured within the ieMR patient record across our Metro North facilities.
