Great work by everyone, what a COVID response.
- Latest modelling suggests a peak in early February. Expect the admissions to increase soon, but ICU numbers to be much less (than expected with delta).
- Our COVID planning and response is working really well, we got this.
- Care packs have been prepared by our Volunteers & Chaplains for staff (all done offsite & COVID safe). These will be distributed via our Hospital Coordinators to staff who work double shifts, along with time for a shower, an extended break & some food. We are doing all we can to avoid double shifts, but this is one practical way we can care for those who do. If this is you or a team member, please call the Hospital Coordinators on 8975.
