Angie Dobbrick, Executive Director Caboolture, Kilcoy & Woodford Clinical Directorate

We are starting to see the number of new COVID-19 cases decline which is giving us a sense of hope that we have reached our peak. It’s also giving us a moment of reprieve, which is all thanks to the incredible work and commitment of each and every one of you. Thank you Team CKW!

  • A reminder to ensure we are using PPE appropriately and preserving our PPE supplies, particularly P2/N95 respirators.
  • We remain focused on improving patient flow. Thank you for all of your ongoing hard work in this space.
  • Let’s ensure we are referring appropriate patients to our private hospital beds in both Caboolture Private Hospital and St Vincent’s.
  • CKW has commenced discussions regarding reopening the G.L.A.D. unit. Further information on this will be shared in the coming days.
  • Fit testing remains a priority for all MN staff. Call 5316 2422 to make an appointment.
  • A reminder that our Public Carpark is for patient and visitor use only. There is no reason why staff should be parking in the Public Carpark.
  • Our preparedness and response to the pandemic is working really well. We got this!

Stay calm, slow COVID and enjoy the brief reprieve.
