EOI – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community of Practice

We are also extremely proud to launch the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community of Practice (CoP) for Community and Oral Health.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from any Metro North staff, community, consumers, patients, people who are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander origin OR any non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander CoP within Community and Oral Health will aim to engage and work with those with an interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and those who are willing to be involved in the co-development and co-delivery of local strategies and actions towards improving health equity and health outcomes for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, consumers and families within Community and Oral Health.

The CoP will also provide an avenue for community cultural endorsement and guidance on COH Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health initiatives, services and priorities.

I encourage as many staff as possible to express their interest and promote this among your colleagues and communities via the EOI FORM (Updated).

Applications for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander CoP will close Friday 22nd July 2022.  Further information in relation to the CoP is also attached for your review and consideration.

In the theme of NAIDOC Week 2022, please Get Up, Stand Up and Show Up to demonstrate your support to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander colleagues, patients and community.
