Glynis Schultz, Executive Director

As I have been advised that some staff did not see my previous message, I am happy to welcome Jayne Stevenson to the role of Senior Director Clinical Operations (Community), Community and Oral Health from Wednesday, 8 November 2023.

Jayne is a dedicated health professional with a focus on leadership, strategic planning and continuous improvement.

Through her role as Operations Director for the Internal Medicine Service at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, she has played a key role in advancing healthcare delivery and operational efficacy of the service line.

Jayne has well established relationships within the Metro North Health Service and has been working collaboratively with Community and Oral Health to advance the Home Hospital Futures Project.

Through her state-wide role in the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Jayne is no stranger to working in complex and geographically dispersed services.

Outside of work, Jayne enjoys quality time and adventures with her family.

I invite you to join me in welcoming Jayne to the role if you have not done so already.

As we welcomed Jayne, we also thanked Dane Robinson for acting in the Senior Director Clinical Operations role since 6 April 2023, as well as periods of relief in the role since 2022.

Dane did a sterling job while in the role and I am delighted that his broad skills have been recognised. He is currently relieving in the Chief Operating Officer role at North West Hospital and Health Service for a few weeks.

Dane has the highly valued and unique ability to build relationships to create high performing teams. He is always ready to push the boundaries in the interest of patient-centred care, staff wellbeing and the best interest of Community and Oral Health.

I thank Dane sincerely for his hard work and commitment and  wish him well during his time working in North West – it’s my country and in my opinion, the best part of Australia.

Glynis.
