I wish to make a correction regarding my message on Friday.

Correction — Medical Emergencies at RBWH Herston campus

In the event of Code Blue Medical Emergency, call Switch on 333. State the exact location, type of medical emergency and treating team (if known). Stay on the phone until instructed to hang up. Please refer to the RBWH Code Blue Procedure (001443) for more information.

For all other emergencies, call Switch on 55. State the emergency and exact location. You will then be transferred to Security to give more information. Stay on the phone until instructed to hang up. Please refer to the Herston Campus Emergency Procedures for more information about the different types of emergency codes.
