This afternoon Metro North and Redcliffe Hospital stood back up to a Tier 3 of our COVID-19 and Influenza Response Plan 2022. I encourage everyone to read this afternoon’s Health Incident Controller’s message, which talks more about the reasons behind this change.

For us here at Redcliffe, the most immediate change is that staff in the hospital’s main building and other clinical areas must return to wearing P2/95 masks and protective eyewear. This change is effective immediately.

To help everyone understand how other changes will work, we’ve arranged a Special Staff Forum for 2:30pm tomorrow afternoon. The Teams link to that session should be in your Outlook calendar.

If you have any questions this afternoon or this evening, please talk to your line manager or NUM in the first instance.
