CCWC service line leadership update

2022-02-21T17:52:10+10:0021 February 2022|Facility Messages, Redcliffe Hospital|

All staff are advised of a change in the Critical Care, Women’s and Children’s (CCWC) service line leadership at Redcliffe Hospital.

Please join me in welcoming Dr Kim Hansen to the position of CCWC’s Medical Director. Effective tomorrow, Dr Hansen will be working alongside Nursing Director Julie Lahey as the leadership team for the CCWC service line. Dr Hansen will also join Redcliffe as an SMO in the Emergency Department.

Dr Hansen’s previous roles include Director of Emergency Services at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital and Senior Staff Specialist at The Prince Charles Hospital. Dr Hansen is passionate about patient safety and has a particular interest in further streamlining processes for staff and clinicians.

Please also join us in thanking Dr Michelle Davison for her time as Medical Director with the CCWC. Dr Davison will be returning to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, and we wish her every success. We are particularly grateful to Dr Davison for her continuing interest in helping us to improve the patient journey of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
