Executive Director Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Sherry Holzapfel will attend Metro North Health facilities bi-monthly to yarn with staff. Sherry and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leadership Team are committed to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff feeling safe and supported working within Metro North Health. These sessions are also available to staff working within Aboriginal and Torres Strait health services, and staff interested in supporting our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health agenda. Everyone plays an important role within Metro North Health, and it is important to us that you are supported and heard.
Positive role modelling is key to shifting the culture of an organisation – this is a great opportunity as a manager to learn more and, share learnings with your team. The yarning sessions are designed to be a safe, casual space for staff to meet with Sherry. No bookings necessary!
