Glimpse into the future

Members of the Caboolture Hospital ICU team toured the Clinical Services Building (CSB) construction site recently to see how the new facility and new 10-bed ICU is taking shape.

Progress on the $399.5m Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment Project, which includes the new five storey Clinical Services Building and six floor multi-storey carpark, continues to ramp-up, with activity and trades on site growing rapidly each week.

We’re excited to build a bigger and better hospital for the community and are looking forward to it opening in 2023.

Celebrating service

CKW Acting Director of Nursing and Midwifery Ben Ballard (pictured here with Executive Director Angie Dobbrick) was presented with a certificate and badge to officially recognise his 20 years of service to Queensland Health.

Our Length of Service ceremony recently celebrated more than 2500 years of service across Caboolture Hospital, Kilcoy Hospital, Woodford Corrections Health and Redcliffe-Caboolture Mental Health.

This year, we had 167 staff members eligible for an award – ranging from 10 to an impressive 35 years of service!
