Women having breast surgery at Caboolture Hospital are benefitting from the kindness of local crafters.

Members of the PLR Beachmere Bay Craft Group and Caboolture Zonta Club have created breast cushions and drainage bags to support patients.

Caboolture Zonta Club Service Committee Chair Joan Haupt recently delivered the handmade items to Breast Care Clinical Nurse Breanon Ellison.

The Caboolture Zonta Club works to improve the health of women in the community through service and advocacy.

“We are supported by some wonderful volunteers who help make this possible by sewing various items,” Joan said.

A big thank you to the Caboolture Zonta Club and local craft groups for their ongoing support of Caboolture Hospital and helping our patients.
