Kind donations bring joy to residents

While visitor restrictions have influenced who can come to our facilities, acts of kindness have supported elderly clients and residents to stay connected.

While visitor restrictions have influenced who can come to our facilities, acts of kindness have supported elderly clients and residents to stay connected.

At the Brighton Wellness Hub, our wonderful staff are reaching out to our elderly clients who frequent the centre to keep them connected and to just see how they are.

The call back system has been providing comfort and support. This small act of kindness has made a difference to the emotional state of one elderly client who was happy that someone picked up the phone for a chat.

Our Values in Action Champion Gary Adolph has been lifting spirits across the service by being a comforting voice for many when they needed someone to talk to.

Residents of Cooinda House and Gannet House are using iPads donated by Woolworths to get a little bit extra facetime with their families. What a great gift!

And more recently, our volunteers joined thoughtful community members to crochet blankets for a small number of lucky residents and patients at our aged care facilities and services that care for the elderly at Zillmere, Brighton and Kippa Ring.
