At Metro North we are all about making sure our staff are okay. Our golden rays of sunshine at Aspley Community Health Centre took it a little bit further to share a laugh with colleagues and ask RUOK?

BBQ Bottler
Engaging our patients during their stay has become a good old-fashioned Aussie tradition now at Zillmere Residential Transition Care with regular snags on the BBQ.
It has been fantastic seeing our patients catching up in the dining area (playing pool noodle balloon tennis) and also the sound of conversation and laughter.

A quarter of a century can be a long time and that is how long services have been running at the grand old lady that is called Pine Rivers Community Centre.

Barry spent most of his life working on the railways. I also supported the Brisbane Rugby League Junior Team and am now a life member.
I live at Gannet House and am thankful for the team of support workers we have here. My family visit when they can but we mainly speak on the phone.
I was a past student of St Patrick’s and as one of our new programs here I have learnt to Zoom meet with these boys weekly.
Fun shirt … RUOK? Day
While we didn’t have yellow in our wardrobes to wear during RUOK? Day, Julie, Chelsea, Eve and Lainie did have matching Kmart tops!
Apparently, the reactions had the desired effect, with some staff confused, each time one of us walked past they thought it was one of the others.
It is a tough time for everyone and the fact we could bring smiles to faces (even behind the masks) has made our day.
