Another year has come to a close and yet again we have seen our community staff rise and shine across our service pitching in with the COVID-19 response while delivering quality care to our residents and patients. 

 At the end of each year we usually do a year in review newsletter, but given the last edition focused on all of our Community and Oral Health Excellence Award winners, we have produced a more refined version. 

 This year, the number one highlight for me has been the way that our staff continue to rally – time and time again to get the job done, while at the same time putting the patient at the centre of what we do. 

 Next year, I expect will be another challenging year for us, but together we can overcome any obstacle and continue to deliver the compassionate and respectful care that we are known for.   

 I hope you enjoy the last edition of the Community and Oral Health Express for 2021 and read the great things continuing to happen across the directorate.
