Melanie and Denielle have worked together in the Consumer Liaison role at Community and Oral Health for a number of years and complement each other in this portfolio striving to enhance consumer satisfaction.
Community and Oral Health Director of Safety and Quality Michelle Kane said they both have a natural ability to understand the stress and pain that our consumers and their families feel when the care we provide does not meet their expectations.
“They actively listen without judgement and treat each consumer as an individual giving them respect and time to voice their concerns,” she said.
“This portfolio can be emotionally challenging, and Melanie and Denielle have great resilience to provide excellent service to everyone who contacts them to ensure they feel we have listened and heard their concerns and that their needs are met.”
Michelle said they have developed healthy interpersonal relationships with Community and Oral Health teams and are always responsive to support line managers and team leaders to respond to feedback by engaging with our consumers and enabling healthy communication to achieve optimal outcomes.
“Melanie and Denielle are loyal and committed to improve the patient experience working in partnership with consumers, families and our teams to deliver excellent patient centred care and high-quality services,” she said.
