There have been a lot of Metro North staff supporting the COVID-19 response to keep our community safe, whether from the corporate, hospitals, community or oral health perspective.
Locally, there were quite few staff from Oral Health who put their hands up to support the response following the temporary reduction in oral health services and re-adjustment to emergency procedures.
Some of whom helped out at our Community Assessment Clinics or in the contract tracing work identifying and tracking potential community spread of the virus.
Thank you to our health heroes Renee and Louisa from our Oral Health team who stepped across to support our Community Assessment Clinics.
Both worked behind the scenes in the Medical Records space for COVID-19, and their services have been more than welcomed by the team with large volume of patients coming through our clinics.
Many of you may know Louisa who works at the Redcliffe Dental Clinic and Renee who works at the Sandgate Dental Clinic. Thank you – you are true healthcare heroes!
