Hospital staff, volunteers and Auxiliary members are all working together to make free toiletry packs for patients.

Volunteer Coordinator Susan Law said the packs were particularly sought after in the wards and the Emergency Department.

“When people find themselves in hospital unexpectedly, these little packs of personal items and toiletries can make their stay a lot more comfortable,” Susan said.

Hospital staff are encouraged to donate unopened and new packets of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap, shampoo and similar items.

Susan said the items should be dropped off at the hospital’s information counter during business hours.
