“Unlike in previous years, this year’s the AGM was held at the Red Cross down on Portwood Street.

“Auxiliary members, like our hospital volunteers, haven’t been at the hospital for the past few months because of COVID-19 restrictions,” Ms Oriti said.

“Everyone is looking forward to having our Auxiliary back, though, when it’s safe for them – especially in the gift shop in the foyer of the hospital’s main building.”

Ms Oriti said the hospital had congratulated the incoming executive and in particular Liz Hancock for her continuing leadership of the organisation.
