Metro North Mental Health Staff Graduation

Left to Right: Minyon Avent, Rebecca Tarrant, Jodie Ross (Nursing), Amanda Murphy (Nursing), Margie Butnoris and Margie Chiavone (Metro North Mental Health).

Last month four Metro North Mental Health staff were among those that graduated from the Metro North supported Graduate Certificate in Health Science (Health Services Innovation) at QUT. Congratulations to Cohort 3 “Grad Certies”, Margie Chiavone, Amy Hannigan, Jenny Mitchell and Kiara Palmer.

Graduates of this program become keen mentors, integrating implementation science and cost effectiveness considerations in our mental health service innovations. MNMH Staff who have undertaken the program to date, Anthony Bligh, Danielle Alchin, and Simone Garret-Walcott, continue to be active contributors and fantastic advocates to staff rethinking how we deliver our services into the future.

If you are interested in learning more on how to be considered for a spot in the Graduate Certificate, sign up for details, or reach out to the Metro North Learning Coordinator Louise D’Allura. Information will be released in early 2023 to apply for a hotly contested spot with mid-year commencement.
