RBWH staff have claimed the crowns at the Metro North Research Excellence Awards in October and Staff Excellence Awards in November.

Professor David Paterson and Dr Nicole Marsh were named Researcher of the Year and Rising Star, respectively. Maternity and perinatal researcher Dr Susan de Jersey received the Chief Executive’s Awards.

At the Metro North Staff Excellence Awards, Dr Krispin Hajkowicz received the Leadership Award and operational officer Gordon ‘the great’ Evans was recognised for demonstrating Values in Action.

Highly commended finalists were Team Gardeners in the People Focus category, and Simon ‘the sign man’ Mahony for Excellence in Performance.
