Each year, the Metro North Nursing and Midwifery Awards showcase and recognise the amazing work of our nurses and midwives across the HHS.
The awards were announced in line with International Day of the Midwife (5 May) and International Nurses Day (12 May).
RBWH Registered Midwife Camilla Carroll received the honour of being named the Metro North Registered Midwife of the Year.
ETC Nurse Practitioner Julia Brownlie received the Dr Lesley Fleming OAM Professional Practice and Clinical Excellence Award. As part of her award, Julia received the opportunity to attend an educational conference of her choice to help further advance her career in nursing.
“It’s such an honour to be recognised,” said Julia. “I’m very proud.”
