Professor Jefferey Lipman

2020 has been a huge year for RBWH Research Ambassador Professor Jeffrey Lipman. The internationally recognised researcher has been honoured twice this year, receiving a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the Queen’s Birthday Awards and Honorary Membership of the European Society of Intensive Medicine (ESICM).

Professor Lipman received his AM for his significant service to medicine, anaesthesiology and critical care, and education. His prestigious Honorary Membership of the ESICM recognised his career achievements in relation to science and research, as well as his long-standing commitment to the society. Professor Lipman will be honoured formally during the Opening Ceremony of LIVES 2020 in Madrid this December.

Congratulations Professor Lipman. We are incredibly fortunate to have an internationally recognised researcher working among us at RBWH.
