RBWH Emergency and Trauma Centre (ETC) staff working on New Year’s Eve added some extra joy (and some extra pink!) to their shift by dressing up in Barbie-themed attire to ring in the new year.

RBWH Emergency and Trauma Centre Director Sean Rothwell donned his best Ken attire, while other staff got in the spirit by channelling various different characters from the 2023 Barbie film.

Each year, the ETC chooses a different theme for New Year’s Eve as a way of building good team morale and starting the new year with some fun. Patients in the department on the night were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed seeing the array
of creative costumes the team came up with.
