TPCH and Australian Catholic University (ACU) recently welcomed its newest group of Clinical School nursing students to the hospital.
The sixth cohort of students were formally welcomed by TPCH Director of Nursing Cherie Franks and Deputy Professional Practice Coordinator – ACU Annie Barclay as they embarked on their first clinical placement at TPCH. The students were also treated to the valuable insights of third year graduating clinical school student Nina Shabanov who encouraged the group to take advantage of every opportunity presented to them.
With all their clinical placement hours being facilitated at TPCH, the Clinical School students are exposed to the breadth of clinical placement experiences offered at TPCH and are accustomed to the Metro North values. We look forward to watching the progress of these students over the next two years.
