Welcome to all the new allied health staff who have joined TPCH this year. It’s great to have some new faces on board. Congratulations to those staff who have recently been made permanent through the Temporary to Permanent Conversion process. This has been very positive for many staff who have worked at TPCH for a number of years.

The Comprehensive Care Committee continues to lead the way in supporting our compliance with the Standard 5 of the national accreditation standards through the great work of its six working groups in the areas of Tissue Viability, Falls, Bariatric, End-of-life, Delirium and Cognitive Impairment, and the Advisor committee. I would like to acknowledge Louise Perkins and her colleagues in the Delirium and Cognitive Impairment Working Group for organising a very successful World Awareness Delirium Day at TPCH this month, which highlighted the great work being done at TPCH to support improved patient outcomes.
