Emergency Department and ICU

I would like to thank the paramedics, emergency team, ICU doctors and nurses for the care given to me.

I came to hospital for stroke like symptoms and with further investigations discovered that I had multiple pulmonary embolisms in both lungs, DVT in my left thigh, and also diagnosed with a hole in my heart. After having an MRI I was told that I had suffered a stroke  If it wasn’t for the medical expertise shown by all staff I may not be alive today.

Again a big thank you to everyone involved with my care in hospital.
