Happy Administrative Professionals’ Day for today and International Midwives Day for yesterday!

The Council is on tour

The Staff and Shadow Council want to visit you! Whether you are on the Herston Campus, at another facility, on night shifts or a weekend worker, we will be making our way around to see staff from across all areas. This is to spread the word of who we are, what we do, and what we can do for you. Send us an email with the best time to meet with your team and we’ll arrange a visit. Our email is RBWH-CC-Secretariat@health.qld.gov.au

Staff Council Open Meeting

On Wednesday 1 June we will be hosting our biannual Staff Council meeting. All staff are invited and we encourage you to attend as this is your opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, or share any ideas that you have. There will be a light breakfast available.

Neurodiversity

Staff council have identified the importance of supporting autistic people at the RBWH. We are working with Staff Wellbeing and Staff members and would like to invite you to join a working party. Any staff who are autistic themselves or have an autistic spouse, parent or child, are invited to join. We provide a safe space for you. Email Candice.carlisle@health.qld.gov.au for further information or to provide suggestions.

COVID recovery

Louise O’Riordan spoke at our most recent meeting about seeking feedback from the past two years. It is so important to provide this to ensure we can learn and make improvements in the future. All responses will be anonymous. MN COVID 19 – LISTEN, LEARN & INNOVATE – STAFF DEBRIEF QUESTIONNAIRE 2022 (office.com)
