What is: Business Cases and Change Plans
Change is inevitable in large organisations. Sometimes you have to manage changes made by others, and at other times you’ll initiate change. To manage change effectively, you need to understand the change process, foster cooperation and collaboration and help your employees and stakeholders to navigate the change with minimal disruption.

What’s a business case and change plan?
A business case can help your stakeholders and employees engage with and commit to a change initiative. It details reasons for the change and the benefits it will deliver, in terms of enhanced service delivery and improved efficiencies and effectiveness. It should also create a roadmap for implementing the change that links strategy with people, processes and technology.
A change plan can also support a smooth transition by mapping out all aspects of the change including budget, schedule, scope, communication, resources and its impact on employees, patients, industrial partners, the community and other stakeholders.
Why is this important and what’s my role?
