Japanese Encephalitis Virus (JEV)

On 4 March, 2022, the Acting Federal Chief Medical Officer declared Japanese Encephalitis virus (JEV) situation a Communicable Disease Incident of National Significance. JEV is a nationally notifiable disease in both humans and animals.
