Metro North a White Ribbon Workplace
As a White Ribbon Workplace, Metro North Health is proud to join the global social movement towards the prevention of domestic and family violence through the promotion of respectful relationships and gender equality within our workplace and the broader community.
We’re celebrating!
In 2019, Metro North commenced the process of becoming a White Ribbon Accredited Workplace and making our health service a certified place that demonstrates a culture of zero tolerance against violence.
Metro North Health is proud to announce it has successfully completed the White Ribbon Australia Workplace Accreditation program, and recently receiving formal certification acknowledging we are now a White Ribbon Workplace.
To achieve accreditation, Metro North Health was required to meet 15 criteria under three standards to create a safer and more respectful workplace by taking active steps to prevent violence.
What does White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation mean for Metro North Health?
At Metro North Health, we strive for an inclusive and safe working environment for staff at all levels of our organisation.
Metro North Health believes that everyone has a responsibility to oppose attitudes and behaviours that go against our values, promote a respectful workplace, and provide support to those whose lives are affected by domestic and family violence.
