Social wellbeing

Social wellness is achieved when we can create and maintain healthy relationships with the people around us, building supportive and meaningful networks. At its heart, social wellness fosters a profound sense of connectedness and belonging, particularly within the workplace, where individuals feel valued, supported, and engaged.

Metro North social identities

Social identities and wellbeing portfolios have been established in each directorate to guide and shape Metro North’s initiatives across our health services. These well-connected teams play a crucial role in embedding our values into daily conversations and provide strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and sustainability of health and wellbeing programs at each facility. These social identities inspire Metro North staff to proudly represent the facilities in which they work!
