What is integrity

Integrity at Metro North Health is about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. It is reflected through honesty, fairness, and transparency, and through decisions and actions that build trust and credibility across our teams, services, and community.

During the 2025 Have Your Say Survey, staff selected the following definition as the one that best reflects what integrity means at Metro North Health:

“We are honest, equitable and accountable in our actions, consistently following through on our commitments.”

This shared understanding guides how integrity is experienced in our work, our relationships and our leadership.

How we bring integrity to life at Metro North Health

Integrity is reflected in how we make decisions, uphold standards, follow through on commitments, and act in ways that are fair, ethical, and transparent.
